I started thinking about this yesterday. My question is, when are you Christian. Is it when you open your heart and soul to God and Jesus Christ, or do you just wake up one day and go "I'm Christian now". Myself, I believe that being Christian is the realization that you are on a journey, learning as you go. Even though I have started attending church and Ive opened my heart to God and his son, Jesus Christ, I do not feel I have the right to proclaim to the world that I'm christian, I tell them I'm a student with the lord as my teacher and when I'm ready he will tell me.

To me...The basic realization that you are a student and that you desire, need, and allow the Lord to guide you and teach you, is what makes you a Christian. No one graduates. There is always more and more to learn.

There will come a time when the LOVE in your heart can not be contained. You will shout to the world your joy.

But you are a Christian long before this moment.

This is what confuses many atheist. They see Christians in all phases of their walk. So we appear differently if evaluated on a human scale. But I believe that God, in his role as our Father, finds great joy in our first unsteady steps.

Probably u might be feeling u're not worthy to be called a christian, but then the term need not be so exalted. As long as we have faith in God always, we are christians.

Don't know if this will help but if you are a disciple of Christ, you are a Christian.

I think you are complicating things. The Bible says that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved. So, have you believed the Gospel? Have you received Jesus into your heart and confessed it with your mouth? If you have you are already a Christian.

YES! there is a truth there. When you ask him in there is a change right there. As for reveal. I wish more people new how close you and God can really get.

John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
