  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Trump is pro-Christianity?

Cheating on his wives, sleeping with pornstars, lying and bragging and holding wealth, success and power above almost anything else in his life, including his own children.

If that's Christianity then that's a religion I can easily get behind.

Hey, remember, Trump is such a strong Christian that the IRS audits him.

PRO Christian is not necessarily Christian. I have question multiple times whether or not he was a true Christian here on CF. I have never once seen him repent and or ask Jesus as Lord. But he is a populist and pro Christianity. He will protect conservative Christian, and American family values. That is why we elected him. We didn't elect
him to be our priest.

Could you name some examples of Trump protecting conservative christians or family values?

Not claiming that he does. Not promising that he will. Actually doing something.

I would like to know why evangelical Christians and their biblical beliefs should be recognized and endorsed in the U.S. government in the first place. What makes these Christians so special that they think they deserve preferential treatment from the U.S. government and deserve political pandering by the president? Do they think they're entitled to such special treatment simply because they are Christian or what? I personally see no reason why Christians of any denomination should be treated better than any other religious or non-religious people in this country or have their favorite Christian version endorsed and pandered to by the current president and the U.S. government.

Did Taylor Swift make a public statement specifically supporting the KKK and Neo Nazis, as President Trump did? If the answer to this is yes, the answer to your question is yes.

I would have no problem answering your question, but I have not heard anything about this, so it is hard to comment without knowing the details. All I know is that I've heard the name "Antifa," and I believe it stands for "anti-fascist". Could you please answer a couple of questions, then I will be happy to answer your question.

Is calling black police officers racial slurs the official policy of Antifa? If so could you please provide evidence for this? Or is this a case of some members of a group acted inappropriately, and you are blaming the entire group?

After these responses, I'm done. No wonder people are walking away. Your comments are disingenuous at best.

Because I won't get deceived by your attempt to draw false equivalences, or because I do not know much about Antifa, and ask for clarification, you accuse me of being disingenuous? I gave the best answers I could with the information at hand. Perhaps a look in the mirror is in order?

Did the IRS ever finish auditing him? He promised (heh, heh, heh) to release his tax forms when they did.

In the very first few seconds she literally says she was never a liberal.

It sounds like she has more a personal problem with her mother and is for some reason projecting that onto Democrats.

It's not astroturfing. The friends I have that walked away have been liberals ever since I met them. Unless they've been pretending their whole life. But I'm sure the videos of other walk away people show them as active liberals, it's not simply YouTube channels that appeared within the last year. I know my friends aren't astroturfing.

She talks about the politics of Progressives being a religion and I couldn't agree more and have said as much. It operates very much like a religion and an extremely fundamentalist one at that. Just observe the online shaming, mobbing, and ostracization after you've committed a "sin" in the Church of Social Justice.

This is leading to a LOT of people walking away.

Yeah like this self-admitted non-liberal in this video here.

How many more non-leftists like her can the left afford to lose?!

Yeah many of them are Trump supporters now. They've also been telling their conservative friends that they will send a message this midterm election, so they're trying to get Republicans to stay home. They want to get out there and vote and show everyone that the Democrat Party is losing support. I expect to see a huge increase in the black vote for Republicans this year.

I've seen some people posting: "Stay Home. #WeGotThis" It looks like there are a lot of black people on board to help Trump these midterms.

I watched it.

She mostly uses her mother as some example for the entire left and gripes about her behavior and projects on to millions of others. She also admits plainly she herself was never a liberal so I don't know how much I can trust her opinion to not be biased against the left from the git go.

She mentions all the same typical right-wing talking points about the left that they've been saying for years now. Nothing I've never heard before so if she's just waking up to these claims now, I feel bad for her missing out on so much all these years.
