Well, I moved out, I just got back to Florida early early this morning. I owe them (my aunt and uncle)I have to pay them the vet bill to get my cat Gabby back by Christmas. Also anything I believe that wasn't packed when I left, will be given to good will, which is basically everything I own! I have nothing now except what I brought with me, and the stuff that I left home in Florida, and the etertainment center in my bedroom, everything else from my room is in Texas!! If I don't pay them back everything by March 1st, they are sending a letter (I seen the envelope it was shown to me before I borded the bus) to the Bishop over my area! Great i'm being blackmailed.

Renee
 May the Lord be with you.

Renee- no offense here-- but you really need to grow up. You can't run away from yourself no matter where you live or with whom. If you want to find out what God wants you to do you need to be a sober person with a serious sacramental life. Find a spiritual director- pray that God will lead you to the right person for you. In the interim pursue your own spiritual reading, attend Mass daily, pray everyday.

Mother said she wanted you to GROW in your spirituality-- not to run away from your struggles with little thought to the consequences. It is easy to feel persecuted whenever everyone doesn't readily agree with you- but the saintly road is to remain silent and steadfast, "obedient unto death- even death upon a cross."

Loving God means living the Cross- it is called a "vocation" not a "vacation"-- a vocation is an individual's means of getting to heaven-- and that absolutely means suffering- LIFELONG suffering.

It seems to me from what you have posted here that you really desire the drama of it all- rather than the quiet nobility of the cloistered life...

I will continue to pray for you- but please seek out Chrsit and His will for you-- rather than thinking that what you desire is of any great importance.

I truly believe you don't know what you want to do until your mid 20's.... The Lord does need dedicated servants, but please wait, be patient, and let the Lord guide you. Life seems much different after high school... Even one day after, it will hit you like a brick. I can't explain it, but you will see.

P.S. I'm a high school teacher :p

Although there have been many saints who obtained their heavenly crowns long before their mid-twenties... we must be serious and seek out diligently what it is the God wants us to do. He has a vocation picked out for each of us, but we must actively seek to find out what that vocation is-- once we know- we must act and follow His will....

We are all called to holiness now- not at sometime in the future... (I know that's not what you were saying, Michael, but I will babble on...... )

Renee,
You have to do what you know is right, and what God is calling you to do -- He is inviting you -- it is you who prayerfully needs to respond to the invitation -- not anyone else. I had to deal with some of my immediate family who were against my becoming a Sister -- with time, and almost miraculously, God's grace turned them around -- I just knew God was leading me to follow Him, so I knew what I was doing was right -- no matter how much it hurt me to "stay with it" -- now my family would have it no other way!
Stay close to Jesus, to the Sacraments of the Church, and to prayer --
To Jesus with Mary,
smaosf
