VIVID dreams...

Lately, the past week or two, I've been having extremely vivid dreams... The characters in the dreams seem to be more than just part of a dream, now they seem to have a life of their own... Also, It would be as idf I'm a part of the characters, and they are a part of me, almost like a network of computers in a way... You can tell to an extent what goes on inside the others, and they are all connected.

Problem is, whenever I start having these dreams, they start coming true...

Any opinions? Serious ones only please.

Aren't vivid dreams great!

Most dreams are your subconscious mind wanting to communicate with your conscious mind, to tell you something you don't want to know or think about when you are awake. Most of the time, all of the characters represent YOU, aspects of you, things you wish you could do, people you wish you could be, character traits you wish you had.

www.dreamdoctor.com is a great place to go to help you figure out your dreams. Also www.dreamloverinc.com/dictionary1.htm is great.

One of the ways God communicates with us is through dreams. Here are a couple f scriptures that tell us that very specifically. Joel 2:28 "And it shall come to pass afterward, [that] I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions" This is quoted again in Act 2:17 "And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:"

Satan tries to counterfit this with "bad dreams" that may also come true.

I don't know what your relationship is with Jesus but if you know Him as Your Lord and Savior this is certainly something about which to pray and ask Him for the wisdom and understanding you need. If you have not yet received the blessing of salvation through the blood of Jesus that is the best first step to handling any situation in life. It is always better to have the power of God on your side whatever you are trying to deal with and once you choose to belong to Him you can call on Him for help and wisdom.

I would record the dreams in some detail. (if you are not already doing so.)
Try asking the characters in your dreams just what is going on. If you have trouble directing your own drams (it does take practice) try asking before going to sleep.

as i'm somewhat famaliar with your tradition, i shall leave aside those questions for now, however, before i could proffer an opinion, i would need a few more questions answered.

1. in what sense do you see the dreams as manifesting? are they coming true in the physical or astral world?

2. how much recall do you have of the actual dream itself? specific instances or the entire sequence?

3. have you studied any form of guided dream therapy?

4. do you have the ability to control the dream, influence it's outcome, yet?

Thank you! I'll look into these, even though I was looking for a more spiritual answer (Spirituality and Religon Forum hehe)

1. I find myself dreaming of several possible paths that could happen for a particular thing (In either a metaphorical or literal sense, varying) and then one of those specific paths will come true. For example, I dreamt of landscapes and a battlefield for two different paths.(metaphorical) I was thinking of getting a digital camera or pre-ordering Halo2. (digital camera=seeing landscapes, Halo2=battlefield type game.

2. Most of the time I remember most of the dream. Other times, I just remember a few specific scenes.

3. Not to my knowledge.

4. I will realise that I am dreaming, but not be able to control it at all. I can act out as a character, but that's pretty much the limits of it.

You should see my dreams. They're so vivid I sometimes wonder if I'm asleep when I'm awake. It's not bad until you get bitten by a snake or stabbed in the stomach or something like that XP

I've also experienced..(there's a name for it...starts with an H I think) this thing where you continue dreaming after you wake up. It's very freaky.
