Visual patterns produced by sound waves

I was watching a documentary on how sound waves can be directed to actually levitate small objects. They also touched on this interesting way to convert notes to artistic patterns. It wouldn't be that hard to transfer these unique patterns to canvas or paper. Ive seen similar patterns with metal shavings using magnetism but never with sound waves. This is interesting from a Christian perspective since Genesis speaks of God speaking things into existence. "Let there be light"
