viewing the future

In about the past 7 years I have had more and more experiences of knowing what's about to happen, and it always does. Although, they are not important or interesting events, for example, I will be walking down the street, and I know I am going to bump into an old friend. Does anyone else experience this? My Grandmother (a devout religious woman) had been that way her whole life, and so are her daughters, and her mother. My Grandma was talking to a friend while he was working on the roof, and she knew she would never see him again, and he ended up falling off the roof later that day and died. The thing is, I wouldn't want to have it to that extent, but my experiences are just ridiculous, like I know when the phone is going to ring etc? any others with these experiences?

I have even scared my friends a couple of times, like I know things I couldn't

It's really not that bad once you get used to it. Of course, if you really want to kill off the ablility completely you could just keep ignoring it and it will eventually die off inside of you. Happens a lot when people don't realize their gifts, but it will work as a disposal method too.

Happens to me all the time. It confused me for a long time and drove me on wrong paths, but now that I am seeking God everything is different. It no longer plagues me. God is showing me the way, and I've placed my faith in Him to guide me in His will so that I do not become lost. Seek Him with all of your heart and soul and you will find Him.

my relationship with God is the most amazing thing going in my life. I don't feel lost at all, but this happens in my whole family. I feel so much love in my life everyday, and my faith is complete. I just don't know why this happens to us all. It's not a bad thing or a good thing really (to me) it just happens

Sorry I did not mean to imply that I think you are lost. I think God bestows gifts on us even if we do not understand the purpose. Yeah it is just something that happens. It doesn't mean one predicts the future. As I said it used to confuse me and set me on the wrong path before I came to know Christ, so all I was trying to do was let others know that if a person is in conflict about themselves they need to seek God for answers. Again, I apologize. Figured I would do it in the open as well.

I agree with you here water...God does bestow gifts even if we can not understand it's purpose. I watched a program on tv awhile back which scientifically proved that we all have an "extra sense" which is more promident in some.
