Is "Failed Christian" an oxymoron?
Scriptures and other Christian sources always speak of how Christians are "victorious" because it is Christ in us who makes
us victorious over the power of sins, death, and judgment for them. Christians are victorious because Christ is victorious.
Therefore, if one is a true Christian, with Christ living in them and they living their life out for Christ, isn't it impossible
to say "failed Christian / defeated Christian"?
Is it possible for one to be a true Christian, but live your life not as a victorious Christian but a failed and defeated Christian?
Being constantly unhappy, depressed, frustrated, angry, and you never get what you want but you still believe in God
and therefore are saved and will go to heaven but you'll have a miserable time on earth.
