I am not Pagan. also because I have read the bible, where the only mentions of abortion arer on how to and who to do it to. not that what is only biblical should have influence on secular law.
Reading and understanding are two different things.

I see this claim used whenever someone reads a religious text in a way the other reader doesn't like, even if they are of same faith.

At what point during a persons career do false statement become old news? If it is a recurring issue, how can your trust the person?

How long do I have to lie before it becomes old news that I am a liar?
Apparently when they switch to the Republican party.

Maybe that’s true. But it doesn’t invalidate my point.

A Christian is asking me this? Hmmm
Yes. That's correct a Christian is asking you that. Is a Christian such as yourself going to answer? This Christian still hasn't seen any direct mentions of abortion in the bible that support outlawing it or anything of the sort.

If you think abortion is okay because there’s no direct mention of it in scripture, then you must also reject the Trinity because there’s no direct mention, either.

I'm saying it's NOT CONDEMNED anywhere in the bible and given the micromanaging found in Leviticus, I feel confident that if it was as evil as you believe, it would certainly have been covered there.
The death of a fetus IS mentioned in the bible. And in neither case does it condemn abortion.

Now God is a micromanager. Yikes.

What does Leviticus have to say about abortion?
It says we....
can't eat shellfish
can't wear mixed clothes fibres
Touch a dog
have untidy hair
no going to church after giving birth to a girl (66 days) or a boy (33 days)
pick up grapes in the vineyard
reap right to the edge of your field.
Curse the deaf or abusing the blind
Crossbreed animals
Trimm your beard
get tatoos
slaughter a cow and its calf on the same day.

but abortion? The most abhorrent of acts? Nothing? REALLY? It was the focus of right wingers in the US for DECADES but nothing?
Leviticus mentions murder too. Lying as well. But not killing a fetus? Well it does talk about what to do if two men are fighting and the fetus dies accidentally due to that fight....it explains THAT scenario (but even in that scenario there is only punishment if the mother dies, otherwise it's just a fine

You are welcome to answer the first question. It's all i've been asking for.
The first one shows that you don’t have an understanding of how to understand and interpret the Bible. Like I said, based on your presupposition, the doctrine of the Trinity cannot be shown.

That is only ONE of my arguments (and I have no problems ceding that point as it is weak). The other argument is that when the killing of a fetus is alluded to in the bible, there is no punishment (certainly no damnation) for it.

Again, I have been offered no solid proof that the bible condemns abortion and when I have pressed people for it, they still have not given me any.
I get closer to "Boy, I guess you're not a real christian" then I do "Well actually brother, you are mistaken. Consider these verses".

I'm beginning to think antiabortioneers don't actually have a supported position.

It's strange to me you keep ad homineming me and ignoring my arguments instead of tearing my arguments to shreds with biblical evidence.

That is not surprising. The trinity is a doctrine that is newer than the biblical texts.

Papal infalibility and "abortion is murder" are also newer.

Your first question presupposed that it could be argued against by a verse. So that’s what I led with. So I’ll ask you this, based on the above. What’s the Hebrew word for fetus?
