Well Jim, if I haven't convinced Nick and I have known him in another cyberlife, then I say it is hopeless. But just because he is confused in one area doesn't make him ineligible from kisses and roses, now does it? :)

From you, Julie, roses and kisses are fine. From Jim, not so much.

In Christ,

I haven't learned how to quote yet, but I'd like to comment on part of OhhJim's Post # 13:
Quote:
Revelation makes it clear that the reason God hates the Mark is because it's an indication of worship. People will take the Mark because they worship the Beast, not because they want economic advantages. God doesn't care where you do your banking.

This reminds me of something. The president always has the flag pin on his left lapel. And everyone who supports him does the same thing.

That's what Jim's post reminded me of.

My statement is neutral as to my feeling of the president.

Also, I wish the poll had a 'maybe' choice to vote for or 'probably'. I think, probably, yes, the chip or something like it will be used and then used to even influence as read in

Daniel 11:41a: He shall enter also into the glorious land...

One interpretation of that scripture could be the chip being implanted in the brain and then that chip being controlled by satellite for mind control. The glorious land would be the mind.

Or how about Daniel 11:15f:
...neither shall there be any strength to withstand.

An interpretation of that part of scripture could be that the implated electronic chip could be used to make people weak.

And how about the fact that these things are called 'chips'? Kind of makes you think of yummy chippie things like mint chocholate chip, potatoe chip, chocholate chip cooky. At least the word 'electronic' should precede 'chip' or how about 'implantable chip'.

I know this post is long and I'm not really that wordy, I'm just playing 'catch up' on a subject I feel strongly about.

This site is good because you have so many different viewpoints and invaluable information that really represent the different parts of the body of Christ.

It is such a shame you live in that crazy left coast state. The midwest is much saner and greener. I'm not movin'.

I have a sister in southern Missouri, and all I hear from her recently is "freezing cold" "crops all killed", etc. During the summer, it's "mosquitos", "hot & humid", etc. All we gots is little earthquakes, now and then.

I am sorry I have to leave the action. I have to get ready to see Herb Peters tomorrow, remember him?

So, how was Herb? (You realize that if I ask someone in California the same question, I would get an entirely different answer! ^_^ They would think I meant "herb", with a small aitch.)

Now, how do you know for sure, "Mr. Check all things first?" Did you visit your sis in MO in the summer? It is cooler where I live, I'm North--by a little. Oh, I see --a little rumble is no big deal. Little rumbles can turn into violent rumbles. Yes, I am a scaredy cat, even though I also have something in common with you -- I live on the New Madrid fault line. Joy!

Well, he was good. He basically went thru his book (which I already read on-line) taking about 3 1/2 hours. It was more interesting to speak with him during breaks, however. He is very passionate about his beliefs (as is most of us on this board) and I really enjoyed his testimony which he gave first. No regrets. You should go see him.

See, you left coast people even talk a different language than the rest of America! I declare your state a foreign country! :)
