Which are you?

Verbose: Using or containing a great and usually an excessive number of words; wordy.

Succinct: Characterized by clear, precise expression in few words; concise and terse

I remember in junior high getting a paper back which said I was verbose - that was a NEGATIVE.
So I certainly can be wordy but prefer to be succinct.
At work I use to listen to my boss explaining something and be thinking - get to the point. :p

I understand I am a bad reformer for being succinct. :D ;) ^_^

Fits nicely for me being, succinctly verbose :)

Haha! I could almost say the same for me, but it has more to do with my mood at the time; I could go either way, but not really both at the same time.

But I voted verbose. Cause I just felt like it.
:p

You'ld just post "succinct" if you were that. ^_^

You wrote, "I understand I am a bad reformer for being succinct." NO WAY!!! There is very little worse than having to listen to or read stuff from those who are verbose. Be succinct and if you are tempted to be verbose, then just be succinct anyway.

DrWarfield

verbose is winning in the poll

myself I rarely read a really long post

unless it is FULL of useful info (from my POV) and ON TOPIC

This is a great point gracie! I too rarely read overly long posts and in fact almost never read a post where massive numbers of paragraphs have been cut and pasted from another website! aarrgghh.

Now, with Jon it is another story! :) That dude can write and I always find myself reading the whole thing! Go Johnny go go go!
