Aww this is so sweet of you SK! I love your poem, thank you so much! We are indeed there for one another as knight and knightess, side-by-side against the darkness.Oh, Miss Multi! I am sorry that I had not thought to look here before now. Thank you! I love the top picture especially. I will certainly be saving it to my "gallery folder", as I call the folder where all of the images I have on rotation for desktop wallpaper are stored. ^-^
As it turns out, I do have one for you. Please keep in mind; I have not dabbled in poetry since - I think - my freshman year of college 15 years ago. So, I probably broke quite a few basic literary rules when it comes to writing poetry. The only knowledge I can grasp from elementary school about this kind of writing is that each stanza (is that the right word?) has a rhyming scheme of what my 4th grade English teacher would have called ABCB. Where only the second and fourth lines in each stanza rhyme. Just so that gives you an idea of how to read it, I guess.
Now then, enough of my long-winded explanatory introductions ^-^ =>
Pairbond
A poetic illustration of the manner of meeting Miss Multifavs the Lady Knight of CF Singles by Sarah's Knight
Through hellish wastes and heavenly realms,
the thorny stone path winded on.
But there one single mortal girl can be seen from the stars,
her face lit like the dawn.
This creature of seeming insignificance to some,
a strange noble bearing hath she.
But in place of silver mail and regal cloaking, she proclaims
"Only plush trinkets and cute ornamentation shall adorn me."
In her mind she may walk the thorny wood alone,
and her title no knight before may have thought to regard.
However in darkened hedges some yards away alongside walked another,
his eyes as romantically sorrowful as an elegant bard's.
In time the Great Father saw to it,
the paths would come to a cross,
beneath the foggy light of a damascus lamp post,
unclouded by the darkest growths of forest moss.
Even from the ocean of stars above the Father ensures,
that enough light bears a stranger's face to see,
That in the fog of human emotion even a glimpse of one's heart
be enough to declare fealty with either solemn or fanciful glee.
The lady of wistful youth but hidden nobilities,
was started to glance and find,
the serious but idealistic eyes of another youth from the hedgewood,
already smiling in greeting upon her with no pretense of soul-disguise.
In the foggy but warm damascus light,
the two mortals were elated and undisturbed to find,
Some trace of darknesses of anger and selfishness lurking in the romantic idealist's heart,
and a naivety of folding beneath life's woes upon the bright-eyes childlike lady's in kind.
The boy playing knight merely nodded once,
and graciously extended a sword-worn hand.
He mused "I see no blood upon thee, princess of delightful whims;
your heart's light I glimpse for my troublesome journey would be in much demand."
The lady noble glimpsed sadly away from him,
her face suddenly solemn she replied with quiet shame,
"Brother, you may think too well of me,
for I myself fight great darkness in life just the same.
"Yet, still, the friendship you request from me,
will gladden my days of struggle against the oft-suffocating night.
Together as a spiritual sibling pair you wield a sword of mercies and insights,
and in my own ways I shall wield one of hope and light."
So she in turn extended am artistic, delicate hand,
to accept his own offered not in vain stride.
Thus now the two mortals as they journey on are seen ....

As a knight and knightess, side by side.
THE END
You're really good at writing poems, actually! I like the form you used, which I too remember learning about in school, only it was in middle school when I learned it.
