CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well Melissa and I had already received our gifts.
But we did talk for 5 hours on Valentine's day. And that was a good way to spend it if you ask me.

I sent him two amazing cards he -loved-... and an adorable stuffed monkey holding a heart.
I got a buzzer at my door, and a dozen beautiful red, pink and white roses, with a teddy bear, delivered to my door on Saturday.
I am perfectly happy.... AND I see him this weekend!!
Next year, I said we're going to the melting pot... (we'll be married...)

Still no gift for me. She said she knew what she was getting but hadn't got it yet (we were away for the weekend and apparently it wouldn't travel). We're going out to celebrate properly tonight.

I made my bf and his family cookies, and i got him a basset hound vday card (his dream dog) and a Martin Luther bobble head...he loved it Valentines day was really nice, He surprised me with flowers...which i love.. and then we went out for a nice dinner and saw a movie...he got dressed up and looked very handsome I enjoyed it immensly...it was our first vday together.
