Since we are in to posting Myths and Facts... Here's a fact; 3 volunteers that took the c19 trial vaccine ended up with Bell's Palsy, and some have even died. Also one in Alaska today went into anaphylactic shock, Benadryl didn't even help her.

Okay here are your odds of having a problem or reaction to a vaccine. 1 in 100,000 so 10 out of million, I love it people will ignore the 99999 people a vaccine saves and focus on the one or they will ignore the 999,990 and focus on the 10. Nothing is 100% your doing good if your vaccine is over 90% affective.

100,000 haven't even gotten it yet, and you'd know if you've been watching the news that there have already been quite a few problems with quite a few people already.

Yeah that vaccine has a 90% effective rate. And the problem seems to have been with people who have allergic problems with other medication. They're now warning people if you're someone who has allergic reactions to medication you probably shouldn't be taking it. It's also why when they have you take the vaccine they have you wait 15 or 20 minutes because generally when there's a reaction that's when it happens 15 or 20 minute'sand if you're at a doctor's office when that happens your odds of surviving are pretty good though there are exceptions. And the one in a hundred thousand is the normal success failure rate. But when they were testing the vaccine they already knew it was about 90% effective. 90% is good. That would mean out of 100,000 people 90,000 of them the vaccine would work on. And again everyone focuses on the small percentage of failure versus the massive percentage of success.

This is a virologist...he's a boring scientist.

But he speaks the truth about a virus and Vaccines he has spent his life investigating. Long before it became popular.

For those who do not want to watch a boring hour video lol.

Denison noted that while there are several types of COVID-19 vaccines in development, the first two, from Pfizer and Moderna, are mRNA vaccines. These vaccines are unique because they are synthetic and do not contain any of the coronavirus itself.

“The (Pfizer) vaccine overall is 95% effective…that’s stunning efficacy,” Denison said. “We’re really happy with the flu vaccine that has a 60 percent efficacy, we think that is fabulous.” He also underscored that these vaccines were created with great speed in part because the science and research methodologies behind them were already in place and were bolstered by an infusion of monetary support. However, he emphasized that all FDA efficacy and safety guidelines were strictly adhered to.

Here are his qualifications...he has been a doctor for over 40 years

Well I know the Anti-Vaccine brigade will question the mans qualifications lol. I love it when someone will ignore a doctor of 40 years and believe some nut from a facebook article and I have investigated a few one guy flunked out of medical school and the other three I found did not even have a college education lol.

If you notice that he was talking about coronavirus he was researching 20+ years ago but couldn't get funding...it wasn't because he wasn't qualified.
Meaning that he does have his doctorate. And not just an MD...in his field most PHDs are also MDs.

In order to know how effective it will be, it would have to be exposed to all possible strains of the virus. Even though they continue with the idea that they know all there is to know, they haven't really scratched the surface yet. It hasn't even been a year yet since the virus was discovered. No way to know how a vaccine will work against it, especially since it was developed in record time.

You could always ask Kamalla Harris about it. She has already stated she won't be taking it because it was developed under Trump's presidency.

Okay yes vaccines are evil, they do not work, do not take them for anything and when your child dies blame god. It is like the polio virus google it it was one of the worst diseases there was. It is not only in third world countries...you all keep refusing to take vaccines. When the virus which is alot more deadly than covid hits us with a resurgence because people refuse to take vaccines...you can can be happy knowing your child lives paralyzed and stuck in a iron lung for the rest of there lives. I am done with arguing with ant-vaccine people...hundreds of doctors with thousands of years of combines experience and you want to ignore them...fine I do not care anymore.

The many strange long-term symptoms of Covid-19, explained
Almost a year into the pandemic, there have not yet been thorough, large-scale studies to determine the true prevalence of long Covid. But preliminary research suggests that somewhere between 10 percent and 88 percent of Covid-19 patients will experience at least one symptom for many weeks or months. Some of these can be life-altering; one study found that 50 percent of non-ICU patients reported a significant change to their cognitive functioning.
***************

It’s still unclear how long these symptoms might last; some long-Covid patients have reported improvements in their breathing, although much slower than they would have liked. One study of mildly ill patients in China found that 70 percent had abnormal lung scans three months after their initial illness.

Dude let it go its like arguing with the wind, or arguing with someone who believes the earth is flat. It is pointless. The diseases that for decades have been all but eradicated are starting to make a comeback. People need to have bad things happen to make changes. And when a disease like polio makes a comeback and starts killing peoples kids I promise you the anti-vaccine people will blame everyone and everything for the resurgence of that and other diseases on everything but the ones responsible...them.

Vanderbilt university Medical Center had over 10,000 doses this week...they are almost gone. Moderna's is showing up next week sometime...my wife and I are hoping to get in on some of those ASAP.

My state/county has 1,000 doses from the federal government but is "stockpiling" them for some unexplained reason that nobody wants to say why.

All I know is that I want it as soon as I can because then I am free to do as I please. I can get a haircut and go back to work. Maybe even have an immunity party of other people who got vaccinated or had it recently.

Nice strawman, but let me tell you my actual position.
I'm all for medicines and vaccines that are proven. However, the one we're discussing now has quite a few things unusual about it, and I think it's wise to see how it works before using it, and an even bigger reason for government to not make it mandatory for those who prefer to wait.

Millions of doses of vaccines have been already used by this point...

Millions more by the end of the year.

But coronavirus cases aren't waning yet...

I hope soon.

The cases would wane if the vaccines would be given to those that actually need it most, which are the patients in the hospital beds. Why aren't they getting it first if it's so effective?

Because the meds they need are usually used for rheumatoid arthritis. Then a round of steroids. Then they need special plasma.
All of this so that eventually (30-40 days)they can get released from the hospital... although they need to be married to an oxygen bottle and regulator for a while...and those supplies are running low.

That doesn't sound like any reason to not give Covid vaccine to patients sick in the hospital with Covid. The meds they need when they have Covid is the vaccine for Covid.
