I love her books so much./ If you don't know who this author is, she created the books, Flowers in the Attic, Petals in the Wind, If There Be Thorns, and other classics. It depresses me that she has been reduced to being one of those authors whos books are not put on shelves for l;ast minute buying in the grocery store. You know, the books that are near tjhe gum and candy? She past away quite some time ago, so it amazes me that there are still new books coming out by her. I think the reason i like her books so much is because, they make you realize that no matter how bad your life is, it could definatly be worse.

I've read a couple of her books and they were definitely good. I just can never find the next book in one of her series. The library where I live has many Andrews books, but never the one I need to read next! Also, the bookstores only carry a few of hers. But I really do like her work; and, yes, it does make my life seem ten times better!

I liked her work until she died. Now that I read that, it sounds like a strange statment! lol. From what I have read, the reason there are still books released under the "V.C. Andrews" name is that when she died, she left behind alot of story ideas and the books out now are just writers expanding her ideas.

But, I can definately tell a difference in her writing and the writers under her name. The early books, I could never figure out which direction they were going in. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, BOOM! something would happen I just didn't see coming. After her death, her books became the same basic story line, just different character names. I could figure out what was going to happen way before it did. I just didn't enjoy them anymore. I haven't read much after the whole "Heaven" series was completed.
