  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

The Correct Way to Raise Children said:
The method is quite simple. If a child ever breaks a single rule, you kill them in a very slow torturous manner.

Now I know people will be objecting that one child families will be in trouble here because they don't have any kids. This best solution is to have a number of kids in the space of a few years. It is best, since no kids would survive if you didn't, to not implement this method till the child understands the difference between right and wrong, and understands that doing right will help him or her avoid this. Now, most likely your children will not believe you, but after the first one past the knowledge of right and wrong commits a wrong, you should have a very obedient group of children. It is your choice to pick when to apply this, but for best results, at least if you're a quality over quantity type person, you should use this for even the slightest punishment, from not making all A's to getting mud on the carpet. Of course, it you should not expect the impossible, so make sure the child can do it before hand.

As far as carrying out the punishment, for best effect make sure all your other children, and possibly the children of any other parents who prefer to raise kids this way, watch. As far as torture methods, reading some good war diaries should give you plenty of ideas.

So, what do you think? I think our society would improve a couple hundred percent in less than two generations.

That's idiotic AND inhumane in so many ways.

What you are determind to misunderstand is that the LAW was/is GOD's way of demonstrating the impossibility of earning one's salvation. It is impossible to please GOD. It is that LOVE of GOD that allows us to live, even though we deserve damnation. GOD's love provided a way out, but man needs to learn first that he is incapable of perfection.

Yes, man can't be perfect. So, we should be punished. A good whipping, maybe some timeout, even if for a few hundred years, but eternal torture?

Portions of all religions, maybe, but not really. Depends on what counts as a religion, because I have heard of a few which sound pretty stupid, but not inhumane. But, they are so small, many would call them cults.

Actually, that is precisely what out-of-control discipline does.

God demands that we hurt our children when they don't do what we want?
