I think what he is trying to say is that you should not post in this section of the forum, if you dont plan on discussing science.

The OP asks what has creationism contributed scientifically, which is why the OP DOES belong here.

Remember, the theory of evolution is a scientific theory. This implies that it can only be addressed scientifically.

I you plan on attacking the ToE, you should do it on scientific grounds, since it is immune on any other.

I gave what I thought was an honest answer to an honest question. Evidentally, I was wrong, and it went downhill from there.

But please don't ask me questions if you don't want me to answer.

Believe me, if I'm ignored, I promise you, I'll go away.

As plants and animals (and people) moved toward the "polar regions", absolutely no genetic changes would have taken place; for two reasons:
  • the earth was one continent
  • the earth was one tropical paradise
But then the Fall occurred, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Nonsense. Only a winter wonderland counts as a perfect world. I've seen enough Malaysian noons to know that if you were stuck in a "tropical paradise" you'd want a winter wonderland too.

No --- "age of life on earth one billion years"?

I never said that --- nor did I mention "embedded evolution".

You've got me quoted all wrong.

Is anything within the quote boxes in that post wrong? All the rest is the logical conclusion of what you seem to be saying. You keep on claiming that the "embedded age" makes it impossible to differentiate between things that are actually old and things that are created old. For this to be true the creation must also have an "embedded history" that includes all dating processes currently used by science as well as all evolutionary processes that are plainly seen.

You can't get around that AV, you really can't. Except by hand waiving and disregarding the evidence of course.

I grew up in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and I lived in Hawaii for three years. I'll take Hawaii any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Strange though, many Hawaiians go to Las Vegas for vacation. Still can't figure that one out.

You're seeing it as a fallen paradise. It wasn't that way in Genesis 1, though.

Yes you can, Herman. Would it help if I would have said that God created Adam from the dust of the ground, then sped up his growth process so that it aged 20 years in i picosecond? And that He did the same with the universe; creating it first, then ageing it 13.7 billion years in one picosecond? I don't believe this, myself; as I believe He didn't need to perform that step; but does that help any at all? I mean, we're talking God here, okay?

What do you got to do to get people to ignore you?

Agree with them.

They're so desperate to pin YEC on me they'll ignore anything I say.

If this is want happened, then we shou see evidence for it. We should see a univers that is 13.5 billion years old, an earth of 4.5 billion years and a history that begins 6000 years ago.

There should be no supernova remnants, no geological activity before 6000 years, no cultures older than 6000 years.

This isn't what we see though. There is a history of events happening past 6000 years.

And this is a major point of disagreement with me. I don't believe in a history beyond 6000 years. Age, yes. History, no.

No history past 6000 years? Okay, why, then, is it that every single supernova seen by humans exploded more than 6000 years ago? Is a supernova explosion not an event? If it is an event, how is it not history?

Give me an example of one --- but I'll warn you --- I stick to my convictions.

If you're gonna show me the Horsehead or Crab nebula --- well --- how does that song go?

He was there all the time.
He was there all the time.

I use Adam and Eve as my favorite examples. Had they been created 1 day old, they would have died of exposure; but instead, they appeared on the face of the earth as 20-year-olds (or so).
Why would they have died of exposure if the world was a paradise? And wouldn't their parents have taken care of them?
