• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I originally called myself TheoryofForms on this forum. I changed it to BlueNinja, but I realized I was just trading one evil, Greek philosophy, for another evil, Japanese philosophy.

I'm wondering if I should change my username and avatar to Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog?:

I use one name that identifies me as who I am. I've used this moniker on every forum I have ever been on for the past 20+ years........ unless the forum happens to require that I use my real name. (Some serious forums do that)

What is with this desire people seem to have to hide who they are....... and constantly change their name all the time?

I don't know but I changed it from TheoryofForms after giving up the study of philosophy. I'm a bit more comfortable with "ninjas", but it still doesn't feel right.

Dang it! Now I've gotta figure out who you are all over again! LOL

I'm Drew and I'm fat...but Big Drew sounds lovable...Fat Drew sounds like somebody that is either gonna break your kneecaps or take all your money shooting pool and then break your kneecaps.

Plus it was confirmed a few years ago that I shall forevermore be Big Drew when I was given this name by Sean Astin. True story.

I tend to accumulate baggage with each username. A lot of it negative. "oh no, its bettercallpaul again" kind of thing.

You need to school yourself........CS Lewis was Christian, and although there are "witches" in his works of fiction, he didn't write about "witchcraft" as you probably view it.

You seem to fancy yourself as an avid book reader. Take the time to read some of his works. You just might be enlightend.
