I suffer from migraines too... they say that its bad for you not to take anything if you have anykind of headache. When you have any kind of headache whatsoever...take something... I take advil.

Umm...you're saying it's useful to put your tongue on a frozen pole? 
I didn't realize this was a competition for who's advice was more useless.
Here's some useless or useful advice depending on how you look at it .... don't work any shift other then 1st (8-5 or 9-5 hours) at a college because the powers that be do not take into account any other shift that works when they make plans.

Here's a question I need some useless or useful advice on...the useful would help me understand. The useless would help me laugh at it.
Okay...you get snow. You have to shovel it or snow blow it out of your driveway. So, most normal people throw it to either side of the driveway. But there are a select few that throw it back INTO THE ALREADY CLEARED STREET. Why? The snow then freezes up and people have to drive through icy patches in the road because someone thought a good place to remove their snow to is the middle of the road. Why?

OOPS, glue, not gum, sorry :o
Removing glue should be easy. Slide something between the glue and the shoe and peel it away. If this does not work, buy some glue remover and use it.

I do have some "Oops" gunk remover. But the shoe's outer surface, which the glue (not gum ) is on, is leathery, or indeed leather. So the "Oops" would harm the leather. And this is not Elmer's school glue. This glue will hold tiles of ceramic to a ceiling .

I do appreciate the...advice....it actually gave me a more humorous way to look at the situation.
As for the glue...maybe Goo Gone...it's this yellow stuff in a small bottle that is supposed to remove any sort of sticky stuff from surfaces. And I don't think it's harmful to the surfaces it's put on.
