My mom just called me, she works in the emergency room in our hometown. One of my little brother's classmates was killed this evening. He was riding a mini-bike while going door to door for a school fundraiser when he was struck by a car. He was 12 years old. One of his older brothers is friends with one of my other brothers. Please pray for this little boy's family, and friends while they deal with this hard event.

I can't express how sad I feel that this tragedy has occurred. My own daughter is almost twelve and i can't bring myself to even imagine the pain and devastation that i would experience if I was to lose her.

I will pray.

I know what you mean ukok. My mom said that when this boys brother came into the hospital and heard that his brother had died he collapsed right there and had to be admitted himself. I don't know if I could survive if something like that happened to one of my little brothers, or my sister for that matter, I think my heart would just stop beating.

A friend lost her 5-yr old in a similar way. As a parent, I find this kind of tragedy unbearable. for a sense of meaning. Maybe there isn't.

Thanks everyone for your prayers, I found out yesterday that there was another boy on the bike with him, the little brother of a friend of mine. He is in Intensive care still, and probably will never walk again. Please pray for his family as well.
