Urgent Request...

Please pray for my friend Courtney tonight... She was in a very bad car accident last night. She was due to graduate high school on Saturday and get married in two weeks... She's currently in ICU. She has bleeding on her brain, four broken ribs and a collapsed lung. The doctors are saying that she'll pull through but last I knew (as of 6:30 tonight), she wasn't awake yet so please keep praying for her!

I'll update more when I can .

Thank you ALL so much! Current update... She is still not awake but last night her eyes were moving when her dad was talking to her and she was squeezing her cousin's hand... Also had some coughing spells over night (tried pulling out the ventilator too- while in her coma!)... The doctors put her on heavier sedation this morning due to the pain from her coughing spells but going to try to lighten it again tonight to see if she'll wake up! Please keep praying! !

Thank you all again for the prayers... The current update is last night they were going to try to drain more of the blood off her brain as the doctor had other patients with the same type of car accident on SUnday night up and walking around after he did that so please keep praying for her!

Best part at graduation today... An open seat for her... And the flowers she would have given her parents/family were given to them by her fellow classmates-

(As posted by her sister)- NEWEST UPDATE: I know you have all been waiting for an update yesterday after graduation we got back to the hospital and the nurse had lowered her sedation to 20. The highest level of sedation was 80 which is what she was at in the morning and when we were getting ready to leave for graduation it was down to 40 when we got back it was at 20. They decided last night they were going to taker her completely off and try and wake her up. They told her to open her eyes and she was trying with everything she had but she just wasn't quite there. She was passing all her reflex tests and was moving her head, arms, hands, legs, and feet. So that was great! When they did all this her brain pressure stayed down. It's been staying down. Last night they raised the sedation to 30 just so she could sleep. But she's been doing pretty good! We aren't trying to get to excited just so if she back tracks a bit we won't be to disappointed. We aren't out of the woods yet but she is making improvements.
