CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I heard the news today and left work early to pick up my two young sons. I just needed to hold them.
Father God I pray that Logan's family seeks refuge in your love and mercy. I pray that the find peace in knowing that logan was not alone in those woods. i pray that you reveal to them as you did me, that your angels were with him. I pray that they find comfort in knowing that his first words were spoken to his Lord and savior Jesus Christ your son. In Jesus most precious name. Amen

This hit me very very hard today. I did not even know the family, but it really hit me like he was my own son. I wept today for the first time in a long time. I am a father. But as Christians we know that Logan is where we all long to be, and that is very very VERY comforting. Our Lord did bring Logan home, to the best home there is.
