Ok first of all yes i am gay, but what you all don't seem to understand is being gay is not a choice i was never attracted to girls even in primary school but my feelings for men started when i was 12, i did not choose to be gay it just happend i can't help it.

actually I think it is both a choice and to be born with it. some people choose to be gay because they are confused, upset with thier family and so on. But there are still a lot of people that are still born being gay. Some of them eccept it and some hate being gay. so I say it is both a choice and something at birth

Well, agreeably it must be tough for you. However, it is a lie of satan to believe you are without help. God wants to help you, and often we as humans do get discouraged when we think we are doing everything right, and God feels far behind. Really, God is there for us. I suggest getting help in your prayer life. That would be a huge factor.

God loves you. So followers of God do not wish you dead. Though they likely would want to pray for you. Nothing wrong in praying. It can only help, and never hurt.

Truthfully, people are not perfect, and the path with God will go on your entire life. If you want God in your heart, you will need to keep trying to live up to God's values, and not settle for your own just because it's tough.

It doesn't mean it won't be difficult, but remember God gives you trials you can handle with His help. These trials will make you a stronger christian, as you wil learn to depend on Him, and not yourself. God bless you Simplelifenice. I'll be sure to pray for you.

I know many wonderful and supportive people on this site. And, yes, there are some who "disagree" with homosexuality, but who are still kind and welcoming.

As to those who are unkind... let the attacks fall off of you like dust... they don't mean anything.

You are a child of God, my friend. God loves you and delights in you, just as you are created.

Wrong! I am heterosexual and I don't wish you any harm. Nor do I believe you need prayer to combat your homosexuality. I believe my feelings are shared by many on this forum.

Whether by nuture or nature, you did not choose your sexual orientation. You deserve to live your life without being the subject of descrimination and hatred.

My wish to you is just to stay true to yourself.

I understand that the attraction thing may be somewhat uncontrolable...but living that lifestyle is indeed a choice.

I don't believe in prayer. But there are christains here who do not believe that being gay is bad or that you should be prayed for for because of that. However they would probably pray for an end to homophobia.

Unfortunately, others here are as you suggest.
