The animal sou lis driven b the quest for aelf-preervation and self enhancement;

in this, it resembles the soul and self of all other creations.

But we also possess a Godly soul--a soul driven by the desire to reconnect with its source.

Simply put.

Exactly.. and our opposing wills do daily battle in our hybrid minds. Our self serving instinct often overrides the will of God which directs us to care for each other. Our will be done or His will be done??

Torah-Water.
This is why Torah is likened to water:

Just as water descends from a high place to a low place, so does the Torah descends from it's place
of Glory
which is the will and wisdom of God, (where) the Torah and the Holy One, blessed be He are One,


and no mind can gtasp Him at all.


And from there it journeys and descends through lidden stages,
level after level umtil it bcomes enclothed in material things,


and matters of this world, which is (the subject) of virtually all the commandments.
