CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hey Christi, how's it going today? I am still praying for you. If you are still craving, get some candy and eat it. I remember when I stopped, I had to either chew some gum or eat candy, I think I went through a case of Now and Laters! Just don't get addicted to candy!

Thanks, I'm hanging. It's just when I get really cocky about it that I start having terrible cravings. Isn't there something in the Bible to the effect of "the Lord will humble those who don't humble themselves"? lol---well it's true!

let me tell you I quit in november and I got through it with a little help from my heavenly father. I smoked over a pack a day and I had to stop cause it was making me kids and pets sick.
I am so very very very proud of you and I understand how difficult it can be. Please take one day at a time even one hour if need be. I dont know if your using any thing to help you quit but i used the patch for about a week or 2. Then I started to get sick and stopped all of it. You have no idea how proud I am of you and for you no matter what I will be in your cheering section. YOU GO GIRL
