This is the lastest news ....
Ashlyn had surgery yesterday to partially repair her neck. (fusing vertebrate?).
The doctors are now saying that Ashlyn should have full upper body movement (not sure on fingers).
She has surgery tomorrow (Sunday) to put in a trachea. She has been moved to a private room (same ICU unit) and put in a regular bed. She is sitting up more and is communicating somewhat. She is still needing a ventilator to help her breathe and will not be able to talk until she can breathe on her own.
Ashlyn and her baby our doing well. If things continue to go well, there will be a baby boy born sometime soon (3 weeks, maybe?).
It is truly a miracle that her condion keeps improving.
She needs our continued prayers for her health and the health of her unborn baby.
