Why did I love You?
Was it because You formed me?
Was it because You knew?

Every dream that would come true
It was all of this and more
It was a love ordained ‘fore birth
That it is You that I will live for
That it’s You who'll give me worth
You’re my Father and Creator
My Saviour and my Guide
My defense and vindicator
My Love until I die
You’re the reason that I’m living
You’re the One who gives me peace
You’re the loving and forgiving
One whose faith had never ceased
I’m thankful that I have You
I love You for countless reasons
You’re the God that I hold on to
Throughout all my life’s seasons
