Blessed sunshine sprinkles it's bright patterns upon the evergreens
The first glorious rays blossoming into the early chill of morn
God's beloved creatures arise to the brilliance of the first awakening light
While the petals of exquisite flora blossom to the azure sky as if reborn
The earth abounds with it's gift of beauty
If we would only pause to notice for a time
Renew our faith in Christ and his love
And bask in His magnificence so sublime
The sun presses onwards towards mid afternoon
The warmth giving pleasure to all who would recieve
As God pours out all His wonderful blessings
On all those who accept and truly believe
The day wears on and the sun moves towards the west
Dusk settles in with it's calm presence as time moves by
Fireflies sparkle drifting upon the breezes of the evening
While the stars sparkle and light up the night sky
Our heavenly Father is awaiting us
Listening closely to our prayers and devotions
Comforting His children with boundless love
Showing compassion for all our emotions.
