TRIGGER
She sees her mother crying
She tries to ask why
But her mother keeps on weeping
She doesn't even bat an eye
She then finds her father
With anger and sadness in his eyes
He doesn't seem to notice her
He doesn't even bat an eye
With pain in her heart
And tears on her face
She walks to her room to find a part
Of something she can retrace
She opens the door
And gasps in fright
She sees her body on the floor
With a bottle of pills in her hand so tight.
She falls to her knees
Then begins to sob
Then she starts wondering
If she had ever really lived at all.
