ooc - I need to make an apology here... One of you has brought it to my attention that I am running VERY CLOSE to breaking one of the rules of the RPG thread in that I am determining the actions of the other players. First off, I accept the advisory in the spirit it was meant - I am new to the RPG threads and not fully conversant in the rules. I was trying to stay clear of this, but I guess I did not try hard enough. My concern, based on RPG experience outside of CF, was that the 'cross-country / let's find the target and everyone for themselves over a couple days or weeks chasing each other" scenario was quickly deteriorating into "let's have a 4 way shootout on a plane and end the game before lunch". In short, probably a very quick, dull, story. I had commented to the thread starter acouple ideas to 'scatter' the action - which is what I have aimed at doing. (with the German flying off to unknown contacts, the Heroine trapped in a supposedly safe rental car and the French not far behind the scatering has been accomplished.
At this point, let me ask a question: Would you all like me to continue playing as I have (various disguises in order to move the game along with occasional 'kidnapping' of characters) but only as needed to "fix" plot disasters or in a more conventional role, criss-crossing through the plot seeking my own objectives?
Please PM me with your responses. I have enjoyed the game so far, but admit I have to get used to the 'time-delay not only post-to-post but also the fact I am 6-12 hours off-schedule to the rest). Ultimately I would hate to destroy the scenario by trying too hard to 'fix' it.
Let me know - the characters would have xome time before any of them would meet my character anyway...

PS No, I will not ID the person who "wounded" me -the Bible says that the wounds of a friend are faithful and this person certainly has proven they are both faithful and a friend - I will not "betray" that loyalty that they have shown to the rest of you in their effort to save the game. I do thank them and hope that the rest of the game runs well. (As for their "character", well, all is fair in love and war, they say...

) Seriously, no offense was intended by them nor taken by me - and I write this openly so they know how I have received their comments yet in so doing I maintain their anonymity. I hope the next time if I am in their position I will be able to do the same for another.
Back to the game -
He sat at the Texas Hold'em Table enjoying the game. He was glad his friend back home had taught him the basics. He wondered how Steve was doing. The method they had been practicing was working very well tonight: The next couple trips would be in cash!
He checked his cell phone - no call yet but he was sure there would be. He flipped over to the secure website he used. The tracking device he had left on Nathan's rental car was still active, meaning they were safe, for the moment. He knew that would change. The Frenchwoman was still an unknown fastor. The search of her purse had yielded not only some mundane, but useful, props, but also VERY interesting information. He now had strong suspicion of where the info about the chip had leaked out, but not quite enough to act on. Kind of like this hand he thought, as he folded the Jack-Queen set of hearts - too many offsuits in the flop to work with......
