I also wanted to add, did they even consider those who served during WWII or was this all to make sure students felt "comfortable"? It's a pretty entitled attitude to think comfort can be demanded.

They're 1950s era murals and not about WW2.

The University is also looking into relocating the paintings.

Sounds like what some famous dictators did to artwork that they hated - they burned them. We are repeating history. Truly a mass of idiocy has consumed the masses - just as it always has. I have no hope anymore. Let it happen, get it over with. Burn down half (or all of the world) no one will listen and learn, they never have. Nothing can last when there are stupid people in charge. Nothing surprises me anymore. It's just people being people and doing the monkey see, monkey do routine and being brainwashed by their peers just as people always have done. Correct. Black troops landed on the beaches on D-day but you never hear about them. I understand that the black pilots who flew US fighters were barred from the segregated officers club until one of the bomber pilots whose plane they saved insisted that they be allowed in so he could buy them a drink. Even Doris Miller was ignored until the black press made a big deal about it. Of course now we are learning that the OP was wrong and the murals are not even depicting WWII

No one is proposing burning this art, or destroying it! Please explain why simply taking it down or moving it is an offense. It’s artwork, most institutions change the artwork in their public spaces from time to time. Why is this any different?

There is more to this than moving it. There is an entire generation dedicated to this nonsense. A generation that sees everything as offensive if it doesn't have certain types of people in it represented together. Also, in this case, you have to destroy the artwork to remove it. Might as well put Karl Marx himself on there along with a companion writer Adam Smith who wrote Wealth Of Nations which goes nicely (sarcasm) with the Communist Manifesto. I'm sure everyone there in that school reads those 2 books almost daily. I have no hope for this generation. Zero. People who have race ingrained in their minds have already been lost to the seas by PC nonsense. They are told not to think of race yet they see and identify it which goes against what they said. They hate white people, it's BLM Marxist nonsense with the lie that white people suppress everyone. Americans truly make up the most horrible lies. There is no suppression, it's just artwork. Based off the threat title and article I don't think they should be removed because of the reasons given. There's art that's 500 years old that people still find beautiful.
