Hmm...
It reads like something from a Left Behind novel. I can't honestly see myself or my church having much to do with this. Interdenominational cooperation is one thing, as is tolerance of other people's right to worship however they want, but I think this is probably a step too far.
Of course, I could be being excessively paranoid, but I just don't like the sound of it.

I really think we as Christians have got to stop being so paranoid about this one world religion! If you look at the URI site it isn't about merging the religions or asking anyone to compromise their belief, rather it is about inter-faith cooperation

A noble cause I'd say! I think all this paranoia about "The one world religion" is potentially very damaging. I've been reading all about this angle on the "inthepursuitofgod.com" forum where they believe that the pope is going to unite all religions into one and then reveal himself as the antichrist or something... anyway, all very laughable but also a little scary....
