Unforgivable/Unpardonable sin

"Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come."

I think I’ve committed the Unforgivable sin (blaspheming the Holy Spirit), and it’s really tormenting me. I’ve read on several websites that if you’re worried about committing the sin, then you haven’t…but it doesn’t seem very convincing to me, and I’m still worried. You see…

1) I called Jesus a homosexual when I was in 6th grade

2) I cussed (In my head) to God when He was telling me that what I was doing was wrong

3) I once had a period of time where I was afraid that God would trick people into believing Him, and after we died, instead of sending us to heaven, he’d put us to hell or something…



Don’t ask me why I did any of these things, I feel really bad for doing them, and is this blasphemy of the Holy Spirit? Isn't calling Jesus gay the same thing as saying that He has an evil spirit inside of Him, therefore blaspheming the Holy spirit? Isn't cussing in my head when the Holy Ghost was trying to convict me the same thing as blaspheming it? I dunno...can people help me please? thanks..

I think I did 1 and 3. (Bad Memory)

Just ask for Mercy, and repent.
And save some souls before you die!

well...I didn't know it'd be unforgivable..but generally calling anyone a homosexual is bad and I knew that....and I knew doubting was bad...i couldn't help it...and the cussing thingy* I knew it was bad too, cept I couldn't "control" myself...

The devil does that to us sometimes. He makes you feel guilty about the past. Don't let him win, and know the lord, thy god, loves you, and doesn't want you to feel these things

I think that many of us struggle to forgive ourselves of past sins. We continually and consistently remind God of past sins......even though he has cast them into the sea of forgiveness and forget.

yeah....but I think this is different because I'm worried of committing THE unforgivable sin...and it's just...really stressful

Augustine used to confess the same sin over and over. Even the great ones deal with these issues.

BTW, his "sin" was stealing apples as a boy.
