Well, we all know what the unforgivable sin is: renouncing the holy spirit. God/Jesus would be willing to forgive you of every other sin, save that one.
I recently came across a series of videos on YouTube of people renouncing the holy spirit. This raises a few questions for me:
1) If you are going to do that, why do you need to do it on YouTube? Are they in need of reassurance?
2) They all seem so proud of it - as if in some way it distinguishes them from the rest of the world.
I often chastise certain Christian groups for forcing their beliefs on other people, and I often make the claim that atheists are, in general, less vocal and pushy with their beliefs. Well, looks like that theory is blown out of the water.
