The Doctrine of Eternal Torment is what the Main Stream Church teaches....
Their theology is that if you do not believe in God and Christ, or if you reject them that you burn forever in a Lake of Fire that never goes out...
It is a lie of course.....prooven to be a lie by Rev 22.3 I discovered only just yesterday.....even though plenty of other scripture, is indicateve that the doctrine of eternal torment is a lie rev 22.3 should be sufficent.
To anybody that knows how to rightly divide the word of God that is....
Yes, rightly dividing the Word of God is very important here, because as we see the Judgement Seats have already happened and those who have rejected the Lord are already cast into the Lake of Fire with the devil and his angels.
Rev. 21:1-8
1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.
2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God
is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them
and be their God.
4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.
5 Then He who sat on the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And He said to me, Write, for these words are true and faithful.
6 And He said to me, It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.
7
He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.
8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
God desires that all men be saved, but as we look at the whole Bible, we see how narrow is the way and few will enter in.
1 Tim. 2:1-7
1 Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions,
and giving of thanks be made for all men,
2 for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.
3 For this
is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,
4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
5 For
there is one God and one Mediator between God and men,
the Man Christ Jesus,
6 who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time,
7 for which I was appointed a preacher and an apostleI am speaking the truth in Christ
and not lyinga teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.
