We have no building or robes to wear
We have only a cross that we bear
For gold and silver, we do not care
We have wisdom so precious and rare

I don't agree with rich musicians but I listened to George Jones gospel music as I worked today. I need that. It doesn't matter who sings it as long as i follow Jesus and his apostles and not musicians themselves.

I feel like I want to fly away into a better place where I'm new. I feel this song in my heart by faith not sight. It's my desire to have peace and life. I have conflict inside however. I must become a soldier now.

It's all about the eyes and spiritual blindness
1 John 2:16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.
Proverbs 28:27 He who gives to the poor will not lack, But he who hides his eyes will have many curses.
Matthew 6: 22 “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
You Cannot Serve God and Riches
24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.

4 The wicked in his proud countenance does not seek God; God is in none of his thoughts.

Proverbs 30:17 The eye that mocks his father,
And scorns obedience to his mother,
The ravens of the valley will pick it out,
And the young eagles will eat it.

Consider carefully what is before you;
2 And put a knife to your throat
If you are a man given to appetite.
3 Do not desire his delicacies,
For they are deceptive food.
4 Do not overwork to be rich;

Scripture compares us sinners to the offspring of the sorcerer and prostitute. We sinners are no different than Israel was. We sinners are spiritual infant's, adulterers, wolves, witches, murderers, and drunkards. And we fell asleep. We need to wake up now.
