Uncle's Sick

I think my uncle has a walking Pneumonia.
He's already been treated with Biaxin twice, the first time for 10 days and the second time for 15 days.
He needs to go get a chest Xray - but he doesn't like docs or hospitals so he won't go.
I'm worried about him, this is a very serious infection.
He even asked for me to bring stuff over so he could have a breathing treatment - he was complaining of having trouble breathing.
He also has no movement of secretions which is bad - even though he's taking an expectorant.

So pray that the Lord would put it in my uncle's heart to go get the Xray he needs.

Father, help this man to heal. Help him to keep his chest warm and use things to break this infection and congestion. Some of the medicated heat rubs, or home remedies warm cooked onions, etc.

Give him wisdom to seek medical help and be safe where he needs help.

Break this attack against his health Lord and restore him. Amen

Praying for your uncle. I pray he goes to the doctor and gets a re-check. As I used to work in a lung clinic, I know there are other options and medications that can help your uncle. He may just need to switch his meds. Zithromax is a good medication to get rid of lung infections. I would tell your uncle to ask his doctor for a script for a Z-pak or something else. Your uncle should go see his doctor again before he gets much worse and will end up in the hospital. Don't mean to scare you but pneumonia is something that needs to be taken seriously. I pray your uncle sees that and gets the help that he needs.

Oh I know - I've had so many I can diagnose myself. (My pneumonia 2 years ago was almost untreatable - had 2 treatments of Levaquin - nasty stuff.)

That's why I'm so worried about him. I just know he has walking pneumonia.

I remember a guy that came over to my grandparents house for Christmas Dinner. He had pneumonia but I guess didn't know it and within a few days he was dead.

Back in Tx. (about 3 years ago) 2 kids dropped dead from walking pneumonia.

I was thinking he should get Zithromax..but I don't think he'll be able to get anymore meds until he gets that chest Xray.

If he waits too long he'll have to be admitted for treatment.

Well I guess he finally went for his xray.

He has congestive heart failure, so the docs are putting him on meds to help get rid of the fluid in his heart and lungs.

Thank you God,
that uncle finally went to the doctor. Thank you that you revealed the truth of the matter. i pray you be w/his family, as they deal w/this terminal illness...
it is hurtful, it is unpredictable, it is really hard to deal seeing our family members so sick. i pray that Uncle is a Christian, and that if he looks into your word, it is not out of fear and anxiety for his life. i pray you give the family peace, and love, and lots of comfort. i pray you love up on them, and give them wisdom and knowledge as to what to say and do to be your people.

i pray to thank you for the members that are Christians, that prayed for the Uncle, that wanted to see him get better. i pray they not give up on him, and he not give up on you..
