There are certainly all different kinds of discussion forums here, with different guiding rules and for different subjects. Best thing to do is search around and find what suits you, since there are many different "flavors" ... if you don't like one area there will be another that is different.

It can be a bit overwhelming. The thing to ask yourself - do you want Christian-only or discussion open to everyone? Do you have a topic in mind? And do you want a place where debate is allowed, or not? Some of these can greatly influence the "tone".

is a good place to get an overview. It depends on your platform - if you're on your phone, try turning it to landscape and you'll probably get more info. A computer may show you more too. If you can't see any of that, let me know and maybe it would help if I get screenshots for you.

I know it seems pretty overwhelming, but once you get an idea of what you're looking for, you'll know where it is and can start there.
