I have my ultrasound in 4 hours. I'm so excited!

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

well i had my first appt. today... she is giving me an ultrasound at each visit... we saw him today... hes just a little tiny spot on the screen, but he is already beautiful!! i go back in 3 weeks for another check up

You are as far along as I was when I had my first ultrasound. My boss started calling the baby peanut after seeing a pic of that ultrasound. The baby will be much more developed in your next one, mine did a little dance when we saw the baby three weeks later. That was my last ultrasound.mstodd919 said:

I've only "peeked" at the sex with one, our last one (my husband HATES finding out ahead of time, but I'm the impatient type, so I finally peeked on the last one!~heehee). The first three were all surprises. I'm thinking I'm going to choose to be surprised with this one, too, simply because it was SO much fun to not know till the baby was born.
BTW, I had my first prenatal today with a new midwife in town and she is just plain AWESOME. By the time we were done, I'm thinking I might can the hospital birth idea, now that I'm no longer high-risk, and go ahead and do another out-of-hospital birth. This woman (and her other midwife assistant) just plain rock! That's the best part about going to a midwife--you get totally SPOILED during your prenatal visits! After having one with a doc (my last one), I really know how good I've got it now! Heeheehee... Though I guess it really does depend on the midwife--they're people like everyone else, so I'm sure there are some doozy's out there, just as with anything.
