Your demands that others "perform better" or "use better methods" are dripping with condescension.
As I said, you misread my intentions. I am stating something about the psychology of knowing and how it relates to the general populace; you are stating instead an accusation that does not logically follow from anything I have stated.
Never heard of this source (Prensa Latina).
You have now.
Sputnik is Russian state media.
Are you being condescending in supposing that I do not know (or read) Sputnik, Izvestia, Pravda, Novosti, etc.?
You seem to be missing the Russian troops on the street.
The Crimean election was a complicated event. Read the Wikipedia account of its history which makes this clear. It includes the Russian involvement, of course.
2014 Crimean status referendum - Wikipedia
There were 3, not 2, governments involved; the third was the state of Crimea, which had previously broken off from Ukraine. At the time of the event in question, govt in Crimea was in a confused state. Your anti-Russian allusions hardly constitute an account of what was happening. Wikipedia gives a fuller view of it.
only by losers.

baseless and debunked conspiracy theories.

An election disputed over a few hundred votes out of millions is not a fake election. It is just close.

No. Only Russia's paranoia.
? Can you articulate in complete sentences? Or am I being condescending?
It was signed (by Putin himself) in 2003 and ratified in 2004.
Under which conditions can treaties be nullified? The situation in Crimea was a candidate. The conditions were not the ones assumed under the treaty.

You don't seem to want to address any of the questions I pose. That's not much of a basis for a conversation.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treaty_on_the_Russian-Ukrainian_border
International agreements at the end of WW2 forbid wars of conquest. Such agreements did not exist before then.
And we can all see how successfully they applied. The U.S. has been in a state of war for virtually all of the time post-WW2.
This is what I mean by condescension.

I am telling you I know that you are citing Russian propaganda and letting any other reader know as well.

"Broken off", it was a take over by Russian troops of the regional Crimean government that then declared it's separation.

Crimea had been invaded by Russian troops operating without designations on their uniforms.

My meaning was easily understood, most of the things I was responding to were unrelated to the topic of the thread.

Treaty on the Russian-Ukrainian border - Wikipedia
What is there to clarify? Putin himself signed a treaty recognizing the border and the violated it 10 years later. It is open and shut.
And we can all see how successfully they applied. The U.S. has been in a state of war for virtually all of the time post-WW2.
None of which is relevant to annexation of territory by force.

According to your way of thinking, you are being condescending in supposing that I cannot detect propaganda. Have you listened to some of the videos on YouTube I referred to previously involving Col. Douglas Macgregor, Scott Ritter, Larry C. Johnson, or Ray McGovern? If you haven't you yourself might not know that you are the victim of mind control and there is no point talking with someone seeking confirmation bias.

I will discuss more of this with you only after you have seen what these people have to say and respond to it. They obviously know what you do not that is critical to the analysis. And that's not condescension; it's simply a fact of your present state of mind.

I've seen stuff from two of them recently, one a couple years back and never heard of the fourth.

That is a convenient way to avoid discussion.

By saying "Putin's war" you seem to be implying that from Putin came the causus belli. If so, please respond to the refutation of this by John Mearsheimer on the aforementioned link:
Maybe later.
Similar agruments have been made by Macgregor, Larry C. Johnson, ex-CIA Russian analyst Ray McGovern,
I watched another one of your putinist sources. McGovern spent the first half of the video blathering on about individual persons at the CIA and in US intelligence about US attitudes toward Russia. When he finally got to Ukraine, he made predictions (this was a year ago) that were just bad. None of this has provided any reason for the war from Russia.

They address the issues we are discussing. There is no point in my writing a long dissertation here about what they are saying when you have the links. Since you have accessed these people's videos in the past, what do you have to say about their views, which are similar, on the Ukraine war?

Mr. Ritter just lost his job because his employer is now under sanctions. His "analysis" was fawning and he told Russian TV what they wanted to appear each time he appeared on their air. Mearsheimer's analysis was erroneous and his "predictoins" were poor.

These are empty claims. Are you referring (as "employer") to Ritter's tour host Alexander in Russia? Do you know what the details are of why he is tangling with the mayor of his oblast?

And he's a pedophile.
Another unsupported allegation. Is anyone who has looked at a young girl and had a sexual thought go through his mind a pedophile? Ritter was a long way from having sex with what society through law arbitrarily refers to as a minor. And if you insist on calling Ritter a pedophile, he is in the company of a whole host of VIPs that visited Jeffery Epstein's island and really are pedophiles.

His employers in (now sanctioned) Russian state media. Don't you know anything about this guy?

Unsupported? The guys was caught by the FBI for that. Twice! He got away with probation the first time because of legal technicalities but was convicted during the second time! Yes, he's a convicted child sex offender. You actually trying to claim that he's not is disgusting and disturbing.

This is a representative case of an argument from ad hominem intended to deflect from the topic of the Ukraine war and what these people, who have a better background and experience than anyone in this thread, says about it. Do you have any compelling refutations of what these people are stating? Be specific!

I'll take this as a tacit admission that, yes, he is a pedophile despite your initial denial.

You don't seriously think I would click on a link to RT, do you?
Shouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole. Honestly, the poster does seem like the type of person who would have taken with Pierre Spray seriously when he talked about the F-35... Or pretty much any other aircraft.

Last week we learned RT has its own hacking division for cyber operations. They are at least going to track us and are a serious risk for infection. I wouldn't touch it with my most locked down browser for all the Rubles in Snowden's bank account.
