I didn't expect to like this game that much, I remember how I felt when Halo2 came out, I didn't like it and was ready for bed by 3am.
Well this game has blown me away!!
Right away I was impressed with how it felt and looked.
- Graphics are the best I've ever seen on console. The maps or worlds I should call them really look huge and spacious, almost breath taking. It's definitly more than a polished Halo2.
- Sound is better than ever, the music is so dramatic it helps keep you on the edge of your seat.
- You can costumize everything. Your armor, the color, you can create maps.
There are so many options and it seems you can costumize every little detail like weapons, spawns, how long before you can spawn, time, health, you name it.
- Weapons, weapons, and more weapons.
I use to hate how the good weapons were so rare on maps, well not this game. Great weapons are every where!! No more trying to defend that rocket launcher area, or a teammate grabing the only sniper. This really changes how the game can be played.
- Vehicles, well I just want to talk about one. The 4 wheeler!!!
It's so much fun just running around huge maps with that vehicle.
You could have hours of fun just racing or stunt jumping one of those.
Have races with friends online.
- TIVO your replays and share them with friends or put them on the net.
I wonder if you can edit it in windows???
The 360 records the last 25 games you played, if I read that right, not sure.
There is a lot of fun to be had recording all kinds of stuff, especially if you can edit it with music and transitions, etc.
- On the main lobby, they show you a map of the world and a number of how many people are on halo3, exact number.
On this map are little white dots where each halo gamer is playing.
The east side of the US is totally lit up, in fact most of the US is lit pretty well.
Europe was the second most popular followed by australia and japan.
There were more than 75,000 gamers on when I started, and more than 97,000 when I took a break.
If you check the average rating, this game recieved one of the highest scores ever for a video game.
I thought for sure Microsoft paid off these critics, that is until I played the game.
It's a master piece!
