hi im a newbie but i was wondering if someone can direct me to any discussion of ufos extraearth people etc.I have read a very large amount of stuff regarding ufos seen one (in 1968)and am very interested in the christian perspective on such phenomena.I know that satan is called the lord of the air and will fool all but the elect at the end times and am wondering if these sightings are related to that verse.It seems this subject has a fairly long human history and even some references from the bible sound very ufo like.Is this an ancient topic on this site or is it discussed in any detail at all?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

When I was seventeen I have understood how an ufo flies.
The right hand theory has been sufficient.
I think ufo is a bluff against the christianity.
I am christian and surely there are no life in other planets today...
I believe in the New Creation when Mars, Saturn, Ganymede will become

What does Christ mean when he says in my house are many mansions?GOD IS.Why is there no room in tiny Christian heads for the bigness the THE TOTAL ETERNALITY OF GOD?We are stardust the planet is but a miniscule pebble on a vast infinity of a beach where THE INFINITE CREATOR CREATS AN INFINITY OF CREATIONS OF WHICH WE ARE BUT A MOLECULE ON AN INFINITE BEACH OF SAND that is comprised of these tiny molecules!No im not suggesting the universe is a picnic.What i am saying is how utterly microscopic we are compared to or creator,and He loves and knows each of us on a personal level of loving compassion and deep abiding acceptance.That this unimaginable intelligence this huge loving being actually LOVED the UNIVERSE into being.That when HE spoke, the force, the power of HIS great love, (knowing in advance that there would be pain and sorrow for all and to spare)What we call the HOLY SPIRIT that which is the power and total will of HIS LOVE,brought all which is into intstantaneous being.Or he made Christ first and through Christ the universe was created in exactly the before described fashion this is how it works i think.Then OUR GOD THE creator and initiator of all this: in the love of his infinite wisdom knowing full well the totality of the all that would transpire before hand till the end of time allowed his plan to unfold as it is unfolding now and will at his good pleasure forever amen.But< why are we so arrogant as to think we know all of what our GOD, This builder and composer, player and arranger of the THE TOTALITY OF ALL THAT EVER IS WAS OR WILL EVER BE is doing?The bible leaves room for other existant forms of life as far as i can see so why cant we?LOOK at the stars! and they are but a small representation to the GLORY of OUR GOD!II In all the course of the unfolding of man OUR LORD and CREATOR Has told his creations as much as he knew they could handle or as little,as they needed it to continue with the unfolding of HIS plan THE ONLY PLAN! Of which as CHRISTIANS we endeavour to do uor part with all our might and minds and hearts because this Glorious loving infinite being has grciously given the most precoius part of himself to us the indwelling prescence of the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD.To be our comfort and our guide and the core of our essence and we seek always to be filled and filled with more and more of this essence of GOD as we are able to purify our hearts an d minds of ungodliness so shall the HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD enter our hearts and minds and bodies and transform us into perfect vessels, able in all ways to do that which is required of us in the attainment of the ability to reside and be with this LOVING CREATOR for the rest of infinity.That is the begining of the next Phase of this eternal plan which will we are assured WILL proceed for eternity.Having said that, why cant there be other life forms?Even if the current ufo thing is satans air force and there are no ufos that are from else where?.AT THIS PRESENT TIME if you lok at the infinite variety of plants and animals and all things living you can see multiple varieties of every creation. all kinds of specialized creations too but i wouldnt bet that they werent duplicatedin some other fashion else where in creation.What is wrong with the concept of other sentience of any kind?In my heart and mind i truly can not limit my LOVING CREATING EVER PRESENT HEAVENLY FATHER CREATOR CONDUCTOR ARRANGER OF ALL NO ENDING AND NO BEGINNING FOREVER ALLALUIAH! to a tiny human point of view of HIS INFINITE CREATION!Its bigger than us!WE are a small melodrama on a monster stage.Get over it its not about us!Its about GODS UNIVERSE and the way in which we as holders of the gift of GOD(THE HOLY SPIRIT)can follow JESUS CHRIST relying on that Holy Spirit within us to be with GOD to be part of GOD forever.But we wont nessessarily be alone there,will we?GOD is our father,to him we owe allSuch a myrad of inititesimal things to go wrong and all life as far as we know it would cease here on this tiny planet.Life is held in a narrow band width of distance from the sun slant of the earth atmosphere of oxygen seas of salt rivers of fresh sunlight and darkness rain and drought.The dance the dance the cosmic symphony conducted and arranged by an infinite and vast being who would take the time any time to communicate with you and me personally and comfort our pain and fill us with peace touch us with the presence of his Holy Spirit!There has to be life in the universe!Or we make GOD too small!

Could be other things happen than a third of the stars of heaven go out.huge volcanic cloud?another planet in our sky?atomic explosion in space that leaves a cloud of some sort. the moon gets hit with a big rock from space ,An open door in the sky,a black hole?mini black hole a rent in the space time contiuum a window to heaven?there was a stairway...with angels ascending and descending....string theory calls for eleven side by side universes...Think marvelous think unfathomable mystery Think GOD...Steven was stoned to death for his vision of Jesus at the right hand of God!He must have known what would happen when he spoke the words that he could not deny let alone dessist from proclaiming even though uit meant his temporal discorporation..(death)

Faith by all means!what i lack faith in is MY OWN UNDERSTANDING!I think we all need a bit of mentoring in our christian walk to apply a buzz word or two....I know Christ will sort it all out for us...till then though...we pray for The Spirits guidance......

Apparently UFO's have visited Portsmouth in Southern England recently in order to check out the newly built Portsmouth Spinnaker tower.
For those Americans who don't know where Portsmouth is, its roughly 80 or 90 miles south of London.
