I don't know about a billion figure, but the EOC and Protestants did appear to find a few things wrong itI voted yes as well. There was a billion things wrong with the Catholic Church during that period of history.
They asked the same thing about Jesus when He entered Jerusalem in Matt 21Who is this Tyndale person?
Who is this Tyndale person?
What grave sin did Tyndale commit? It should be noted that the RCC is not the only church to have executed people or to have committed grave sins.
Thank you bbbbbbb.....Here is another good site about him or just do a google search for "William Tyndale" and you will find a lot of good sites on himHere's a link to the Wiki article on Tyndale - William Tyndale - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A lot of churches don't get everything right. Error seems to be more normal than not.
Thank you for your input.Tyndale was right. But no church resembles the first church. They all lack something that the first church had.
Thank you for your input.
What do you consider the first church to be?
And how does that apply to the RCC?Then we have the churches in Revelation. Jesus speaks about Good things and bad concerning them.
Can you quote some verses for that? ThanksThe one spoken about in the Gospels, acts of the apostles and epistles.
Had I been as zealous for the Lord as I am at present, and lived in Tyndale's day, no doubt I would have echoed the same reply that Tyndale gave that Council that day.Was Tyndale the only Reformer to go against Roman Catholic dogma/doctrines?
And how do others here view him? Thanks

A clergyman hopelessly entrenched in Roman Catholic dogma once taunted Tyndale with the statement, We are better to be without Gods laws than the Popes.
Tyndale was infuriated by such Roman Catholic heresies, and he replied, I defy the Pope and all his laws.
If God spare my life ere many years, I will cause the boy that drives the plow to know more of the scriptures than you!

Any Council that declares they will defy God in order to embrace false doctrine is to be rejected
