Please be in prayer for the Runyon family. Due to heavy rainfall a small dam burst above their house this past week. A little girl named Kaley, and her brother Christian ages 4 and 2 were swept away with the current and killed. The family as well as the community are devastated. The bodies were recovered the next day farther downstream. It is a really sad situation, the mother was giving the children their baths when the flood hit their home. It was reported one of the children was swept out of her arms because the current was so strong. In all, six homes were destroyed and these two precious lives lost. Please pray for comfort and strength, and some kind of understanding. God Bless

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I pray that you will hold this family and community in your arms at this time. I pray that they will be able to move through the grieving process and you will give them understanding as to why this happened.

Oh my God, please hold them tight and love them. They are with you now, please have one of your best mothering angels to hold them. Look down on their parents and have mercy. Please somehow let them know that you are here and caring for their little ones. They need your comforting. I ask this in Jesus' name.Amen
