Does one start with an F and the other with a W?

Of course I am, lol. That would be cruel. But if no one guesses them, I will share them and leave it to any who thinks he or she knows why, and see who gets it.So are you actually going to tell us or what ?
Curious I like. Ok, I will give you a hint. Both start with B.For the Win?
Seriously, no idea what anyone in the thread is talking about. I'm curious
Nope. But that then allows you to tell us your two words and why you think they qualify?
Your bud, me
LOL, no fair. But you are right. We are about to have our understanding of our relationship with Jesus altered by mammoth proprtions... and in a good way.If it’s not Faith and Works...
I’m placing my vote towards these two words... “Jesus Christ”..
LOL, no fair. But you are right. We are about to have our understanding of our relationship with Jesus altered by mammoth proprtions... and in a good way.

Of course, the laws of God's universe teaches us that for every action, there is an equal but opposite reaction.Sweet!

Of course, the laws of God's universe teaches us that for every action, there is an equal but opposite reaction.
This monumental transformation that is each of our futures comes with a cost. We must hate our lives. Ouch, huh? Trust me, when God is finished with us, we will see that parting of ways from the other side, and wonder why we waited so long.
There are tons of true sheep who very much do not hate their lives right now, aren't there? So, so many who are satisfied with the level of righteousness they now possess. They admit they could do better, but 'Hey, no one is perfect and at least I have avoided major sins.' Remember that shaking part that is coming? God is about to change our minds, gently..... or not.

Gids
You are a good brother, and every true child of God should have a few things that he or she simply digs in their heels over. Protecting against legalism.... working to gain or keep onesself saved is certainly one that is high on your list, and well it should be.I Love you Gids...
You know me and how I speak. I am never hostile towards Christ accomplishing wonderful things through His children.
If a salvational price tag on a free gift shows up, I tend to be vocal.
Ok, so let me get to the point of this post.... as readers exhale and think "Finally! I didn't think he would ever get there."You are a good brother, and every true child of God should have a few things that he or she simply digs in their heels over. Protecting against legalism.... working to gain or keep onesself saved is certainly one that is high on your list, and well it should be.
But think about it this way. You have spent all season bent over panning for gold. The gold was free.... just sitting there waiting to be discovered, and after weeks of wet boots, an aching back, and a bad sunburn, you proudly display almost four ounces of gold dust.
Your neighbor, one claim up, comes wading down the stream with a boulder held tightly under his arm and holds it out, offering it to you as a free gift. Upon examining it, you discover that rock is solid gold and weighs a cool 58 pounds.
You have a dilemma however. The giant nugget is so large you cannot take it without dropping your hard-earned quarter pound of gold dust.
Is that gold nugget free? Absolutely! Can you hold onto your bag of gold dust and carry the mother lode stone? Nope. What to do? If you have a brain, you take the bigger chunk, right?
You do not accuse your generous neighboring prospector of making you work for the gift. You choose the better over the good.
Is this not what Jesus told us about His pearl of great price? It is free but it ain't cheap! LOL.
It is tine we rediscover our birthright and foget not all His benefits. We are about to be awakened to what we have possessed but never put on.
Love you, my gentle-spirited friend,
Gideon
Ok, so let me get to the point of this post.... as readers exhale and think "Finally! I didn't think he would ever get there."
The first of the two Christian buzz words that are soon to become 're-understood' is the term "born again". This is a term used by a good sector of the church to identify people who are saved and bound for heaven, based upon Jesus' own words telling us.... and Nicodemus.... that he must be born again.
Was it a catchword for Jesus? Was this just His slang terminology that He gave to His followers that they would now use to indicate the status of their soul from that day to this?
But nevertheless, regardless of how HE meant it, that is what has happened, hasn't it? We who use the term have our own never admitted "club" of the deeper Christians who have actually invited Jesus into their heart as their personal savior and thus been 'born again'.
Look. I get it. I am one of the BAC crowd. We remind me of King Julian in Madagascar telling the giraffe that "It's nothing personal. It's just that we're better than you."
Oh, we would never be so crass to admit such a thing, but we BACers wear that term like a badge of honor, reflecting our 'deeper' understanding of grace and the cross versus those who are more into tradition.
But have you ever really thought about the term? BORN AGAIN. In another place, Jesus calls it "Born from above". I love that.
Could it be we have missed..... like completely-over-our-heads missed.... what those words are truly telling us?
It could indeed.
Thoughts, anyone?
blessings,
Gideon
Did you know that slugs and snails can glide over the edge of a razor blade and not be destroyed? I pray I am snail-like right now. There are two forms of “Born again”. There is the here and now receipt of the promise that is ours, and there is the day we receive the full measure of our glorified bodies, promised.
God has a genuine witness planned for all people. When they are born again (Promise Of glorification upon death)... (this is not receipt of glorification in the flesh, here and now). Each of us struggles uniquely... and has skill sets the Potter can use to equip the “Saints” to be used to bring more to Christ. This brings up the imperative point of not only surrendering to God in full, warts and all, but trusting His timing. If God leaves a thorn or two, or 10,000,000 in someone’s flesh, it is most likely because He has a purpose for the timing of that particular individuals struggles. God tempts no man, but God does allow struggle to occur in people’s lives to kill their Pride and crush their souls to powder, that He can reshape their Soul to His purpose.
Christians often get angry at God that they sin... and ask why He hasn’t taken their sin, but allow me to be clear... Paul said hand them over to Satan for a reason. A child of God that knows the Mercy and Unconditional Love Of Jesus will be driven to utter humility by struggle under the pressing of Demons, in their cruel and Loveless, Lawless ways, void of mercy.
I believe the Lord Sanctifies us through effortless measures on our part, that directly responds to our choices.... and I believe He has a specific purpose for His timing.
It is right to encourage brethren in pursuing Christ’s work in their lives to make them more effective Gospel Workman. It is wrong to feed the sin of pride in pursuit of Carnal Perfection. The leavening kills entire crops and salts the earth.
One form of Holiness is born of Faith Alone and is Isaac. One form of Holiness is born of Carnal Pride and is Ishmael. Satan replicates God’s plans and twists them ever so deceptively, thus discernment is important.
Paul counted himself lower than all as Christ did, in favor of Spirituality building up even the most struggling of Christians. I find it wise to do this.
If Equipping the Mature with measures to be better Gospel Workman, unfettered by waisted endeavors is the goal of encouragement to allow Christ to provide victory over sin... is the idea, it is profitable. If the idea is to fetter the simplicity of the Gospel, it is not profitable.
The wheat and the wine must not be harmed.
What one may find a disgusting failure on a fellow Christians part, May be God’s way of using someone who is struggling to help another.
I’m excited to see where you go with this brother of the Mature Faith, because you’re witnessing on the edge of a theological razor blade.
All Love in Jesus Christ to you, Gids...

Did you know that slugs and snails can glide over the edge of a razor blade and not be destroyed? I pray I am snail-like right now.
I fully realize where I am witnessing. I fully know that one wrong word, and it's "You grab the tar bucket and I will get the chicken" time, LOL. But nevertheless, woe unto me if I do not share as I am led. That means my wife has to hear it.
As to your BAC comments, thank you. Both statements you made were true but.... there is more.
We are taught that we are born with fallen natures until the day we meet Jesus. When we are born again, we still possess our sin nature but in God's eyes, He sees us as new creatures, right?
But is that the truth? Do we, for now here on earth, do we possess new natures, somehow residing in our fleshly fallen nature? And our job as His children is to be less and less fleshly and more and more fruitful. Less of me. More of Him. amen?
But what did Jesus say? No man can serve two masters. A good tree produces good fruit. You cannot get fresh water from a brackish water well. He then tells us something remarkable.
"Either make the tree good or make the tree evil."
Note what He does not say. He does not say to produce less and less bad fruit, slowly cleaning yourself up. Nor does He say to start little by little to begin producing good fruit.
And why? Because you will do outwardly what your nature is at your core. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.... and the body acts.
Look, my dear friends, here is a mind bending news flash. When we got saved, we..... the old us..... the self centered us that likes sin, that thinks its opinion carries more weight, it died. Like for real. Whoa.
Oh, we may have felt the same. The same habits and flaws were still there. The same weaknesses. The same sin habits. But listen closely, and I pray you get this.
You are not you. At not not who you think you are. Your old nature died when Christ died. And glory to God, when Jesus rose from the dead, so DID we. As you live and breathe reading these words right now, you are 100% a new creature.
Oh, at your core, it may just be a seed of God living and breathing inside you. but in that seed is everything you need to grow up into Him in all things.
But if we really are "born again" spiritually, and it is not just a a christian buzzword that will get a reaction one way or another, why do we struggle like we did previously when we were old? Shouldn't it just happen? Isn't growing automatic?
Why? We have ignored the instructions Paul offers us in Romans 6. What instructions? We have never made the truth of who we are our shield of faith. We have never reckoned it so, and that one error is where our Christian walk departed from the rails and charted a new course, each doing what they think pleases the Lord.
Of course, after 500+ divisions and all still speaking babel according, we as His bride have ground to a halt. Do not fret, our God is about to 'unstick us' and wake us up to the full truth of our nature.
Huge changes are coming to His church. . Wonderful changes. I promise! But not everyone is going to be happy. I can promise you that too.
blessings,
Gideon
I am glad you keep hanging around. I am told I grow on people, LOL.Tar and feathers at the ready! Disappointed... no reason to use them... “yet”.
