Why let Scripture ruin a perfectly good delusion?Eternal life is only for those who abide in Christ. Remember, 1 John 5:12 says he that has the Son has life, and he that does not have the Son does not have life. 1 John 2:3-4 lays out the conditions on testing to see if you are abiding in the Son correctly or not. 1 John 2:3 says we can have an assurance that we know the Lord if we find we are keeping His commandments. 1 John 2:4 says that the person who says they know the Lord and they do not keep His commandments is a liar and the truth is not in them. Meaning, Jesus (who is eternal life) is not in them, and they are not saved. For Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
It doesn't mean you can sin with impunity. You would know that if you read the NT honestly.What does it mean for Christ to atone for sin?

You need to restudy His Word by the Anointing (1 John 2:27), and not let church traditions or man’s teachings get in the way of your believing God’s Word. You need to accept what Scripture actually says vs. what you prefer it to say. False doctrines produce fake Christians.You cannot honestly say you are doing what Jesus says if you are basically stating that you are breaking his commandments (sin) with the thinking you are saved. Sin is the breaking of God’s laws or commandments (See: 1 John 3:4)

Again, your belief is the lie repeated by the serpent to Eve in the garden in that the serpent told Eve that if she broke God’s command she would not die. You are believing this same lie by the serpent back in the Garden. You have bought into the lie of the devil. Only the devil desires you to sin. 1 John 3:8 says he that commits sin is of the devil. Be not deceived, the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God. If a Christian is in the sin that God attaches with warnings of hellfire or condemnation, then they are not going to enter the Kingdom of God. They will be destroyed in the Lake of Fire.

See, what you are doing is letting your thoughts or the man made thoughts of others rule your thinking. Romans 8:28There is no Scripture verse that even says, ”Let go and let God!”
Am I correctly assuming here that you at least understand you still sin? If you understand that believes will never been sinless this side of the grave; then we are on the same page here.I am a sinner.
