I was slow to jump on the bandwagon with seeing this movie, and straight out the gate couldn't take the movie seriously. Come on, a girl raised from Arizona who moves to Washington and takes along... a cactus... Something that will like as anything die quickly in he climate of anywhere but the Valley of the Sun? But ah well.

I agree with the earlier post pointing out the lack of acting from Bella, and made me wonder if the book's version was just as twitty and 2-D.

The baseball game was the best by far and the rest was kinda just.... is it over yet? Fave character has got to be Dr Cullen though at this point.

And yes, it made me curious about reading the books, but I'm still a ways away from converting to a reader. For that series anyway.

I've read all the books and seen the movie. I know the movie differs from the book a little too much, but that's okay with me. I understand how that could happen.

I liked the movie. The way it was shot and the dissonance that people seem to want to criticize create a dreamy, surrealistic effect that I really like. I love the soundtrack as well.

I will have to say that I was not at all impressed with Kristen Stewart's performance. Taylor Lautner shined in the movie, though, which is why I'm looking forward to New Moon.

hey thanks for the heads up on that....I went and read the whole thing...I liked seeing it from Edwards point of few...interesting. Have read the whole series twice and have to say the first time I saw the movie was not overly impressed. Have watched the movie now about 5-6 times and it is enjoyable enough. Will definitely be interested in what the next one is like.

My guess is she will still. While with most of it already available online for free, there's still going to be enough demand for a hard finished copy. Even if she doesn't revise it any between now and then. But that's just my guess.

Hopefully that's the case. I think that if she finishes the book, it will be around this time that people are still talking about the books.

Didn't she say on her website that she is now going to finish it--since she has had time to calm down about it being put up. I hope she does finish it....I would like to read the rest.

I think the movie and the book are both good in their own ways... I was disappointed at first by the movie but after watching it a few more times I really like it now. I think Taylor Lautner is perfect for the role of Jacob and I am glad that they decided to keep him on for New Moon. can't wait.

I agree ! I have watched the movie enough now that it is good on it's own. Definitely Jacob needed to stay! Can't wait either for the movie.
Did you see the pictures out of "Bella" (sorry I can't remember her name...her new haircut? Yikes....and the picture that I saw looks like she is on drugs.....

For me this movie is incredibly, off couse everybody understands that it's a fairy-tale, but how professionaly they did it, i admire main characters and watch all film in one gulp!
