So, it was my 20th birthday yesterday...and in my church there's support/mentoring groups from the older members to the younger members. I got switched from the "Young Adults" section to the Twenty-somethings group...and that just feels... weird.
This whole transition has felt incredibly weird, however, and I'm realizing it's because the last half of 18 till the first half of 19 sucked, and then the rest of 19 flew by. I'm now looking at summer jobs, summer school, and ending up a junior by next semester instead of a second semester sophomore. That's kind of weird too, now that I think about it... being that I transferred colleges...and having dropped out halfway through my second semester, I only brought with me one semester of transfer credits. Last semester, I was a second semester freshman, and now I'm a sophomore. If I take the classes I need, I could more than possibly be a junior next year.
I feel like every time I take a breath, my life goes faster.
Did anyone else feel this weirdness about transitioning into their 20's, or am I alone?
