do you know what the differences are?

Metformin is used to lower glucose levels in patients with type 2 diabetes.

Femara is used for metastatic breast cancer in postmenopausal women whose disease has progressed after therapy with antiestrogen therapy such as tamoxifen.

Tamoxifen is also used to stimulate ovulation.

I looked up follstium in my nursing drug handbook, but can't find it, and have never heard of it.

Hmm...much confusion.

AF due 6th of September, however whilst out on my own last night at Riverfire (a fireworks + F1-11 dump & burn display) after seeing my mum and brother off on their train home I went to the loos and discovered AF had arrived early.

Or so I thought

Couldn't have been more than a few drops of blood when I checked the tampon once I got home a few hours later.

Absolutely nothing since...vague crampy feeling but no discharge.

Argh....

then let your postitive side out. hehe.

Ok my AF isn't due until sometime between the 8th and the 15th, my cycle is so messed up since going off the pill. And I am totally moody, hubby was kind enough to point it out to me, now he swears that I am pregnant, and I swear that I am not.

Hi everyone! I'm new to CF, but I'm so glad to have found this particular board. We are currently TTC #2, and it's such a frustrating time - as you all well know. It took nine months (the last three on Clomid) when our daughter was conceived - we're now in the middle of month seven (the second on Clomid) trying for another. I was diagnosed with PCOS in July - probably why we had such a hard time and needed Clomid the first time. Now I'm praying that the Clomid works a second time.

Looking forward to meeting everyone, and sharing in everyone's good news! :)

Ok, so AF came yesterday, one day earlier, which is normal for me since I average 26-28 day cycles. I didn't expect that it had worked this month because dh was sick (stupid hayfever) during my most fertile days so we didn't do anything. I'm actually kind of glad it didn't work this month because I'm starting a new job this week. September would would be a good month though! lol *crosses fingers* ;)

You have 26 days left then :p

I understand your frustration about one spouse being sick and missing the fertile period...it's happened to us before...it's so infuriating coz there's nothing you can do about it!

My worries and frustration feel trivial now in comparison to Steve Irwin's death. :o

I have been haveing migranes so bad here lately, and I am afraid to take anything for them, cause well, we are TTC and have no idea if we are pregnant currently or not.

I completely understand! I am scared of taking pain medication, drinking alcohol (something I do v-e-r-y rarely- but always want to when I can't!) and drinking more than 1 coffee per day.

I can remember being very confused about my fertility chart earlier on in this thread...but it seems to have un-kinked itself and I know have about 3 months of useable data! I now know approximately when AF is coming, how long AF will last and how long till the next one!
Still not 100% convinced am ovulating when it says I am...about time to buy a Maybe Baby methinks!

How's everyone else doing?
