well this month wasn't "IT" for us getting REALLY FRUSTRATED....

So sorry this wasn't your month! Even after countless disapointments, we still think that each month is going to be "IT" - and then when we find out it isn't, it's so hard to accept. I have a feeling I will be finding that out in four days too... again... will say a prayer for you!

Those doing IF testing, etc - how did you talk to DH about it? I just can't get my hubby to understand how imporant it is to me. He thinks we can just keep trying and it'll happen.

I don't want to misread your question - are you talking about giving a sample from DH and having it tested for infertility?

my cycle's gone a little weird. It was 38 days last month and I am on day 28 of this cycle and I've started spotting. I had to take 2 days off work with AF last month because it was so heavy. Hoping the fact that it seems a little earlier will mean it's lighter.

I'm a bit disappointed that I'm not pregnant, especially after eating oats, bananas and other ideal things this month, but I think God might be waiting for me to have finished working where I currently am so that I am healthy in pregnancy. I'll be finished in 4 1/4 weeks so maybe in a couple of cycles . . . who knows?

Well, that is part of it. When I spoke to my OB/GYN months ago her first thing to tell me was that DH was going to have to get tested first, and then they would do testing on me.

DH doesn't have a 'moral' problem with giving a sample, he just doesn't think that we really need to worry about that right now - that there are other things that are more important. He just doesn't seem to realize how important it is to me.

One week and one day left of my 2ww... the suspense is killing me.....

Praying for you too, godsgirldre!! Isn't it amazing how long a week can last when ttc? :) I have three days left in my wait. I hope this is it for both of us - I really, really, do! I'll definitely be praying for us both!

My dr wouldn't do any testing whatsoever until DH went in and was tested - sounds like you may be in the same situation I was, except my problem was that DH was embarrassed, I think. I told him that I was tired of waiting, I wanted a baby - and I was going to have to go through a lot of testing - with lots of needles :) and that once pregnant, I would have a lot more to go through - and I was just asking him to do this one thing. He also said we should just wait and it would happen. I wasn't happy with waiting, so I ordered a kit online to get a sample at home. Unfortunately, it never came. So I just told him that if we could get a sample at home, I would take it in for him. I really think that was the problem - he was just too embarrassed to go in to give a sample or even just to take one in. Once I volunteered to take it in for him, he had no problem with it. I think it also has to do with guys just not wanting to admit that they could be the problem. It has something to do with testing their manhood or something. Everyone kept telling me - well, if he isn't willing to do this, maybe he doesn't really want kids. I hated hearing that - I think it was just an embarrassment thing. As far as telling him how important it is to you - I'm not sure. Guys never really understand how important things are to us - maybe it would help though if you offered to take it in for him - if you can? I know how frustrating it is to wait on him when you want to find answers - I hope he changes his mind soon. I haven't gotten my results back yet, but I feel so much better already just doing something. Good luck!! And let me know what happens!

I just got a call from my doctor. He said as far as the blood clotting disorders they tested for, everything was fine. So no worries there. I asked about DH's test results - and he didn't know. He was going to call the hospital and check on them. So I get to wait some more... :)

Maybe he is scared of the results... so it is easier not to know, and hope.

Hi girls, I'm new to this forum. My dh and I have been ttc for almost 4 years. We are in the process of our 3rd IUI. I have to go into the re tommorow for b/w and u/s. I think the IUI will be on Friday. I know this will happen in God perfect timing. I have a son that is 5 and we didn't have any trouble ttc with him.

My BFF has a 4 yr old, and has been TTC a 2nd child for over 2 years now. It took her a while with her son, but she's having to deal with the issues now of what actions to take.

I hope that this IUI works for you!!

Jenrenee, so happy that the first set of results are good news! Praise God!! :) Praying for the 2nd set of results and for a download of patience.

Thank you soo much!! I'm really hoping for good news with his results. And even more, I'm hoping af doesn't show on Friday! You should have about 5 days left to go in your tww, right? I'm praying for BFP's for both of us!
