Truth is the best and only course. You can remember what you have said when you speak the truth. Confusion and hypocracy are the simple results of speaking falsely. In the matter of sin and belief, truth is a service to the person you are speaking to. Christian love must involve speaking truth. A lie might get temporary positive results, but the long term results would be negative.
